Jennifer C. Roman
Jennifer specializes in family law. Her family law practice includes divorce, asset division, support, paternity actions, modification of agreements, custody disputes, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and restraining orders. Jennifer is a family
law litigator as well as a certified family law mediator and conciliator. Jennifer entered private practice after starting her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County where she prosecuted major felony cases in both the District and Superior Courts, and gained extensive trial experience.
During her tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, Jennifer successfully argued a case of first impression before the Supreme Judicial Court (Commonwealth v. Peace Chou) and successfully argued a case before the Appeals Court (Commonwealth v. Samosa Ruiz). She is an on-camera legal analyst for WBZ (CBS Boston) where she provides in-depth legal commentary on cases of national and local interest.
